This is the street we came to love across the road from our hotel in Hangzhou, the Shangri La Hangzhou. Magnificent West Lake on one side and our five star hotel on the other. Great little souvenir stores, snack shops, and even a Starbucks for the coffee lovers!

I love this photo of Meg taking some tips from a Chinese Embroiderer. We had such a wonderful time with one of the most famous Chinese Embroidery Masters and her teachers that came with her. It was wonderful to see the incredible hand embroidery that these ladies create for a living and listening to their stories.
